My first experience with yoga was in 11th grade as a gym elective; I was all ego then ... so the practice didn't stick for me in my younger age. After college I introduced Yoga back into my life, and following a difficult time in 2011 Yoga introduced me to immense gratitude. I haven't looked back since!

In 2013 I stepped into my 200HR teacher training with Roman Szpond and Lauren Star of Inner Strength Studios in Watertown MA. Roman's studio offered me a space to grow upwards and inwards; and my training helped me carve out my style of teaching vinyasa krama classes that weave in dharma with a modern twist. I have studied Ashtanga, Baptiste, Power Yoga, and Iyengar lineages; I also enjoy Kundalini, Restorative, and Yin classes to balance out the overall Yang nature of a busy lifestyle.  My appreciation for the myriad ways / styles / voices of this practice keeps me fresh and humbled; I hope to leave students feeling the same. I am soothed by mantra, and I enjoy music as much as I enjoy silence. In my classes I aim to weave playfulness with moments of exploration, and also leave space for quiet contemplation of our felt experiences.

Since my teacher training I have been able to lead studio classes, corporate facilities, and private lessons. I am also Reiki I Certified, and hold a Kids Yoga 20HR Certification from Flow and Grow Kids Yoga founded by Lara Hocheiser. To say I find teaching joyful would be an understatement. For 3 years I have been able to watch students move in their own way using the tools this practice has to offer, and I am beyond inspired.

That brings me here, leaving a science career of 5+ years in Boston to focus on sharing the power and beauty of Yoga (and a consistent yoga practice) with anyone whose open to sharing it with me.
