Samantha Gamboa
Samantha is an athlete, attorney, and mama who fell in love with yoga almost two decades ago. But, it wasn't until she and her husband welcomed their son into their family in 2012 that Samantha's love of yoga really began to blossom.
Samantha deeply believes in the power of yoga to strengthen, heal, and transform because she has seen it in her own practice. After running marathons and half marathons for years, Samantha suffered a serious hip injury that resulted in surgery. She found that yoga and meditation helped her heal from surgery more quickly and, as a new mom and full-time attorney, gave her a greater sense of grounding and emotional and mental well-being.
In 2014, Samantha signed up for a 200-hour yoga teacher training on a whim, hoping only to deepen her own practice. Little did she know then that her passion would be sparked and she would be called to teach.
Samantha's classes are full of intention, breath, and flow. She loves to guide students through strong and creative classes that are infused with mindful awareness so that everyone leaves feeling empowered, inspired, and a little bit brighter.
Samantha is a RYT 200 Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor, receiving her 200-hour anatomy and physiology based vinyasa yoga teacher training in 2015 from Yoga Medicine studying under Tiffany Cruikshank.
